Last year in January i styled a photoshoot for a local Bath band called 'Knife' at Real World Studios in Box ...it was the first thing that i have properly 'styled' and it was very fun...unfortunately i did not have any cloth sponsors so i used all of my own clothes which was fine but slightly inhibited the range of 'looks' that we could explore. Despite this i think there were a few successful photos in the outcome which was the most important thing...!

Final Collection Line-up
More Final Collection Prints..
Final Collection Print
This was one of the first versions of my final collection print...firstly i painted a simple A3 picture of window frames going from large to small with some colour behind...from there i scanned the image in and started playing around with it and cutting out different elements...
Here is one of the later versions of my print that i have actually ended up using as a final print (but in repeat)
Here is what the print looks like when its repeated...

F.A.D Print Continued
F.A.D Competition - Escape
This was a print that i designed for the FAD competition we did this year...the brief was 'Escape' and we were allowed to interpret this however we wanted. I chose to call my brief 'Escape to Death' ..although slightly morose i thought it was an interesting angle to approach dying from. (a friend had dyed shortly before and so it was a big question for me at the time)
So my concept was that when you dye the soul escapes through the mouth and slowly leaves the body...and when you dye you see all these swirling colours, as if they are 'the soul' ..so that is what the print below is inspired by...
Here i have duplicated the initial print and made it into a repeat...my sample is slightly wrinkled!

Burberry Competition
After another long time, i have finally managed to add a couple more bits of work, so here are two final pages that were submitted for the Burberry Competition...the brief was to be inspired by the William Orpen painting 'An Onlooker in France,' so we could be inspired by anything from that starting point...as long as it still fitted mainly to the 'Burberry' look of course!
